Today most of the country moved the clocks forward an hour, which typically marks the beginning of Spring. It certainly feels like it here in the Cowichan Valley – Tulips, Daffodils, Crocus and more are popping up through the ground, and the sun is feeling warmer by the day. Last weekend, I took the ferry home from Brentwood Bay (so much better than the 501 streetcar) and the golden hour sun was magical. I love this time of year, and am excited for my first Spring in Mill Bay. Posy is itching to get out as well, and it’s looking like a late April/early May start for her.
