Hello! And Happy New Year! It’s been a long time since I’ve had any type of social media communication with people, so for my followers, and for anyone new to The Delicate Flower’s journey, here’s what’s been going on since I left Ontario in August 2020, and what I’m hoping to do here in South Vancouver Island starting in 2022.
We arrived in Victoria in August 2020, knowing we wanted to live on the Island, but weren’t sure where. We rented a house and started searching. Looking from Nanaimo to Sooke, we were fortunate enough to visit some amazing communities. Our search ended in May 2021, and we settled in beautiful Mill Bay, BC.
During this time a number of factors made me decide to keep Posy on the sidelines. Instead, I have been having an amazing time working @brownstheflorist honing my skills, and helping them out whenever I can. I’ve made some amazing friends there, and they have made my transition to the West Coast a lot easier. Thanks ladies!! So … onto Posy. My plan is to get her on the road this spring in the Cowichan area, available to partner with local businesses who may have a place for me to park her, to sell beautiful local blooms, and bouquets as well handcrafted dried arrangements.
