This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful to have had a wonderful experience last week.
The CVRD hosted 13 women from south Cowichan at the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre, and together we created some beautiful bouquets for Thanksgiving tables around the ‘hood. What I found really heartwarming was how everyone helped each other – suggesting different flowers, giving each other pats on the back, and making new friends while learning something new in the process. I hope they had as much fun as I did!
