Cowichan Valley Flower Delivery

What’s Happening this Spring

Are there signs of Spring in your Garden?  There sure are in mine, and it’s getting me excited about the upcoming growing season.

The tulips are already showing strong signs of growth – I’m thinking they will be budding earlier than past years – perhaps in the next 4 weeks or so?  Squeeeee…

I’m also very excited about being able to sell my first peonies.  I have waited 3 years for these beauties – with another 15 plants becoming available to me in the spring of 2027.  I’m hoping this years crop will be ready for Mother’s Day, but it’s usually a bit later than that….

Speaking of Mother’s Day, once again I will be a vendor at the Cowichan Valley Craft Market in Cobble Hill Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 9.  This is the perfect opportunity for you to get that special Mom figure in your life some gorgeous flowers.  Pre-ordering will be available on the website at the end of April.  We will of course be offering delivery for Mother’s day as well to Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Shawnigan, Cowichan Bay, Maple Bay and the Malahat area.

New for me this spring is the Second Nature Market, also being held at the Cobble Hill Fairgrounds on Saturday April 18.  Come visit Posy and I to get yourself some beautiful spring blooms.

Workshops this Spring with the CVRD Rec include a Spring and Easter flower arranging class at Mill Bay Hall on Thursday March 26.   The 2 part Cut Basics class returns on Thursday April 16 & 23, at Mill Bay Hall.  Registration is now open for both via www.cvrdrec.ca

And don’t forget, if you would like to hold your own BYOB (Build your own Bouquet) party, let us know!  We’ll bring the flowers to you on Posy – it’s a perfect Sunset activity for friends, family or colleagues.
